After Fall, Winter (2011)

Director: Eric Schaeffer
Writer: Eric Schaeffer
Stars: Eric Schaeffer, Lizzie Brocheré, Marie Luneau

A sexy, poignant, and at times darkly funny story of two people desperately wanting intimacy in their lives, but who have fashioned about two people who desperately want intimacy but have made lives of secrecy and deep emotional damage that will ultimately doom their love.

This is a hard one for me. Being that it came to me from the chick flick side of the list, I wasn’t expecting much. It hit me on every level, and was nothing like I was expecting. Is it a love story, yes. Is it a love story of two people 39 years apart, yes. Is it a movie you should see… I believe it is.

It’s a cautionary tale of what happens when a man loses his way, and his masculinity. And takes his therapy into the bedroom, where it never belongs.
